Chuck vs The Truth – 11/12/07 NBC
Doesn’t it always seem that when you aren’t available that the members of the opposite sex come crawling out of the woodwork showing interest in you; poor Chuck and Lou. Chuck, this week, is finding it hard to adjust to life as a spy. This is understandable learning to adjust to being a spy is a little bit different than trying to adjust to a new pair of glasses or having to wear a tie to work everyday. What’s making things the most difficult is all the lies and secrets. Chuck makes a comment on this early in the episode as he watches a nuclear scientist collapse in front of him and gets rushed to the hospital with his sister at the man’s side. Chuck tells Sarah something to the effect of “I am getting too comfortable with this.” Read the rest of this entry »

In the episode description for next weeks Chuck, I found out that Rachel Bilson will be making a guest appearance as a person of interest for Chuck. Sarah finds out about it and goes into full on spy chick jealousy mode.
As these two women battle over Chuck’s affections we will see the emergence of the secret identity complex. Can I have a normal life and still be an uber-spy? Of course you can but remember, the bad guys will always kidnap your girlfriend anytime you irritate them.
Plus, there is nothing like the introduction of a new woman in Chuck’s life to get Sarah to really start analyzing how she feels about Chuck. There will probably be some kind of plotline where Sarah thinks that Lou (Rachel Bilson’s Character) is an evil spy of some kind and try and keep Chuck away from her. Then she will realize she is not an evil-doer just a girl and then she will have a meaningful conversation with someone (probably not Casey) in which she figures out that her jealousy stems from her growing feelings for Chuck.
Will this lead to a revelation of feelings between the two, who knows, I am inclined to think not. Oh and in the end Lou might turn out to be a villain after all. Or we might find out that Rachel Bilson will have a recurring role as perhaps a new love interest for Chuck. We will have to wait and see.

**Spoiler Alert – This article discusses the Chuck episode “Chuck versus the Alma Mater” Aired 11/05/07**
So once again, Sarah is all but non-existent in this episode. More and more we are seeing a departure from the first 4 episodes that appeared to center around the relationship between Sarah and Chuck and now she makes occasional appearances in scenes throughout the episode. Chuck is becoming more and more a one man show, even in terms of the Spy and espionage portion of the show. It seems that lately Chuck finds the problem and through a series of comedic circumstances finds out the solution and saves the day, Sarah and Casey just show up to be the muscle and clean up the mess.
